Internal Instability and Insecurity fairyage

Internal INSTABILITY and INSECURITY

SINCE the last decade, restlessness in PAKISTAN has greatly been a result of external as well as internal instability. Although being a holder of a strategic position with abundance of resources, the country stands on the verge of serious crises and insecurity. Internal instability, resulting in lawlessness, has given rise to much insecurity, where the law-makers are worried about their own intersts and the parliament is passing bills that serves its members' interests.

The socio economic deprivatyion of provinces and urban rural disparity is increasing day by day. Problems of ethnicity, sectarianism, arms and drugs, economic downfall, absence of genuine socio economic development and religious extremism are heavily contributing to internal insecurity.

The stage has come where urban rural disparity should be kept aside and development as a whole should be the goal of the government. Shortcomings should be accepted and realized, and workable solutions should be proposed with some practical steps that generate new hope support for the weak democracy. Internal clashes should not hinder the way towards progressive and prosperous PAKISTAN.
